Senior FPGA Design Engineer

BAE Systems is seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to support the development of cutting-edge electronics. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing FPGA solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing FPGA solutions using VHDL and Verilog HDL
- Collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA designs
- Performing static timing analysis and clock domain crossing techniques to ensure optimal FPGA performance
- Developing and maintaining test benches and lab testing procedures
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in FPGA design and development
- Strong understanding of VHDL and Verilog HDL
- Experience with static timing analysis and clock domain crossing techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
