As a BSA Compliance Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing, tracking, monitoring, and investigating suspicious activities related to member accounts, ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and the Patriot Act. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our members, employees, vendors, and clients at American Heritage Federal Credit Union. Additionally, you will provide training and support to new team members, safeguarding the organization from legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the ERM Representatives and manage daily operations related to BSA and Deposit Fraud prevention.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures concerning BSA, AML, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Regulation CC.
- Analyze and report relevant data as required.
- Maintain a motivated and well-trained staff, conducting regular performance evaluations and goal-setting meetings.
- Oversee due diligence reviews of high-risk accounts and document complex cases related to Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).
- Assist in identifying red flags and conducting annual BSA risk assessments.
- Manage the review and response to regulatory requests and ensure compliance with record retention policies.
- Develop and implement training programs related to BSA compliance.
- Review and update BSA/AML policies to align with evolving regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and SARs.
- Stay informed about new fraud techniques and security developments to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with auditors and maintain effective communication with management and staff.
- Promote the Credit Union's image through professional representation in business and trade associations.
- Three to five years of relevant experience, including managerial responsibilities.
- BSA/AML certification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of applicable federal and state financial regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking abilities.
- A two-year college degree or equivalent specialized training is required.
- This is a full-time hybrid position.
