American Heritage Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled BSA Assistant Manager to join our Enterprise Risk Management Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the credit union's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), and Patriot Act.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Representatives and ensure they are providing excellent service to members, employees, vendors, and clients.
  • Review, track, monitor, report, and investigate suspicious activity of member accounts in compliance with BSA, AML, and Patriot Act regulations.
  • Provide training to new team members and ensure they are equipped to handle complex cases related to Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
  • Assist the BSA Manager with various projects and initiatives, including developing and implementing compliance training programs and ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of BSA/AML policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and ensure soundness, accuracy, and timely filing of Currency Transaction Report (CTR) filings and SARs with FinCen.
Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Managerial experience required.
  • BSA/AML certification required.
  • Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and Regulation CC to support staff and make decisions relating to deposit transactions.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable federal and state financial regulations.
  • Understanding of accounting requirements, real estate law, lending/underwriting procedures, and documentation.
  • Working knowledge or the ability to learn and understand credit union products and services.
