Hotel Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional customer service and manage the day-to-day operations of our hotel's front desk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register guests, collect necessary information, and assign rooms.
  • Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, including confirming group bookings and arranging personalized services for VIP customers.
  • Customer Service: Respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner, providing solutions and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Communication: Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean and tidy, and communicate with guests regarding their stay.
  • Upselling: Offer additional facilities and services to enhance the guest experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Choice Hotel reservations software is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer service attitude.
  • Education: A degree in hotel management is a plus.
