Job Summary

As a Front Desk Agent at WoodSpring Suites Jacksonville I-295 East, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless stay experience for our valued customers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out: Register guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and ensure accurate and efficient handling of guest transactions.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including answering phone calls, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional guest service, including responding to guest requests, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive stay experience.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of guest services.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful. Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess a positive and upbeat personality, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with hotel operations, including front desk software and systems, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
