Job Title: Business Development Manager, Technology

Welcome to Vaco, a company that values innovation and collaboration. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in generating sales, increasing revenue, and profitability. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and develop client relationships, working closely with recruiters to fulfill open job orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a target list of clients and develop strong relationships with them.
  • Conduct prospecting activities, including phone calls, email, social media, and in-person meetings, to generate new job orders.
  • Manage new and open job orders from intake to fulfillment, utilizing Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 0 to 18 months technology sales or staffing experience required.
  • Active member of the IT community, networking groups a plus.
  • Location: In office. Hybrid/Remote option may be considered with Management approval.
  • Travel Requirements: Less than 5% (almost no travel).
