Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

BambooHR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
- Develop and implement BambooHR's financial strategy.
- Provide analytical insight to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Drive the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts.
- Develop and implement KPIs to measure and monitor business performance.
- Drive the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior leadership.
- Identify process improvements and technologies that will enhance the effectiveness of FP&A activities as BambooHR continues to scale.
- Foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency across the organization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- FP&A Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Leadership Experience: Seasoned leader with at least 5 years of experience as a leader of leaders.
- Financial Skills: Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Executive influence: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Scaling Experience: Proven track record of strategic thinking and problem-solving with companies that have scaled successfully.
- Tools & Technology: Well-versed in financial software and tools, such as Excel, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and Tableau.
