About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Epic software specialist to join our team at Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics. As a Senior Epic Analyst, you will play a critical role in planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining Epic software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to end-users to enhance the use of the Epic system
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex incidents not resolved by the user or Tier I support
  • Produce knowledge articles, architecture documents, and strategic plans to guide the technical strategy of the department
  • Maintain system integrity and lead others to solve complex problems
  • Lead and mentor teams, assist managers in prioritizing work, and lead projects or project steps within a broader project
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and design quality clinical builds
  • Follow and coach teams to adhere to standards for internal build, build documentation, and build change processes
  • Participate in committees, project teams, and performance/process improvements as a content expert and advisor

Background/Expertise
  • Bachelor's Degree required; OR Eight (8) years related work experience; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of Six (6) years of Epic related experience required; Experience in an inpatient or ambulatory setting preferred
  • Epic Beacon OR Willow certification required at time of hire; Kaizen basics course within first year of employment; Base understanding of Lean preferred
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Solid communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in department and interdepartmentally to articulate ideas, negotiate resolution of issues, and achieve objectives
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
