Position Overview:

The Senior Salesforce Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role within our development team, tasked with the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated Salesforce solutions. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, business analysts, and team members to create scalable architectures, while providing technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Your Salesforce expertise in development, integration, and best practices will be crucial in driving successful implementations and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the design and development of robust Salesforce solutions tailored to meet business needs.
  • Offer technical insights on Salesforce best practices.
  • Architect and execute comprehensive Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and additional technologies.
  • Develop and enhance intricate Apex code, triggers, classes, and workflows to automate business processes and ensure peak performance.
  • Design and establish data models, custom objects, and relationships to enhance the functionality and scalability of Salesforce applications.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems, APIs, and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs, while managing data migration tasks.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to guarantee the reliability, performance, and security of Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead and engage in code reviews, mentoring junior developers to uphold coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administrators, architects, and QA, to synchronize system integration and deployment efforts.
  • Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends, proactively recommending and implementing enhancements to the Salesforce ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable skills and a strong portfolio of projects may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a profound understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in crafting complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component framework, and declarative features.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data models, security models, and integration patterns utilizing REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data models, sharing rules, and security controls within Salesforce.
  • Solid grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, version control, and release management processes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze intricate requirements and devise innovative solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Salesforce Developer certifications (Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and a passion for enhancing efficiencies.
  • Experience within the payments industry is a plus.
