The Lead Solutions Architect collaborates closely with diverse user groups to tackle business challenges using innovative technology solutions. They are responsible for addressing problems of varying complexity, from moderate to substantial scenarios.

We are currently seeking a Lead Solutions Architect who is enthusiastic about problem-solving and making a difference in individual well-being. In this position, you will partner with fellow architects and delivery leaders in the Insurance sector to drive impactful change in Medicaid and Specialty domains through cutting-edge solutions.

Overview of Position

The Lead Solutions Architect collaborates across different segments within Insurance, including Enrollment, Billing, Claims, Provider, and Clinical areas, to deliver solutions for new Medicaid State implementations and market improvements. They play a critical role in devising multiple solution options and recommendations for business challenges related to diverse health insurance domains.

The Lead Solutions Architect assumes a key role in handling a wide range of responsibilities, from minor to complex issues requiring comprehensive analysis, evaluation, and strategic planning understood by both business and technology stakeholders.

This individual advises executives on functional strategies for significant matters. They exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues related to their responsibilities, working with minimal supervision and employing critical analysis to determine the best course of action.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for data, possess the skills and drive to develop cutting-edge technology solutions for real-world challenges, excel in communication and teamwork, and serve as a key partner to business leaders, ensuring alignment of technology recommendations with business priorities and IT best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading architectural modernization and transformation initiatives.
  • Diverse technical experience across platforms such as Mainframe, .net, Java, Cloud technologies, etc.
  • Track record of driving efficiency improvements in large organizations.
  • Experience in enhancing architecture practices and engagements.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and communicate complex tech concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Contributions to defining patterns, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities for informed decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in the Health insurance industry (Medicaid, Medicare, Specialty, etc.).
  • Experience in Vendor evaluation and selection for technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in working within an agile framework like SAFe.
  • Professional experience in strategic planning, resource planning, process engineering, and budgeting.
  • Ability to navigate a complex organizational structure effectively.

Work-From-Home Details

  • Requirements for remote work: High-speed DSL or cable modem necessary for home office setup. Resident associates or contractors in California working from home will receive internet expense reimbursement.
  • Minimum recommended internet speed for optimal performance is 25x10 (25mbps download x 10mbps upload).
  • Restrictions on Satellite and Wireless Internet services for this position.
  • Designated work area free from interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Weekly Work Hours

Full-time position of 40 hours per week

Compensation

The indicated compensation range serves as an estimated base pay for full-time employment. Actual salary may vary based on location, qualifications, experience, education, etc., ranging between $139,500 and $192,000 annually, with bonus incentives based on performance.
