Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerial Construction Supervisor to join our team at Charter Communications. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of aerial construction efforts for new construction, maintenance, and storm restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of in-house construction teams and contract labor to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
  • Monitor and maintain productivity, safety, and quality of work performed within the aerial construction department.
  • Coordinate with engineers and developers to design and implement construction plans, including the installation and location of equipment and cable.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to terms and conditions of agreements.
  • Monitor daily production and submit/review daily production reports.
  • Reconcile submitted invoices to work completed in the field.
  • Coordinate permitting and make-ready process for construction work.
  • Communicate with management to provide updates on construction progress.
  • Review and process damage claims, and communicate with relevant parties as needed.
  • Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
  • Adhere to industry-specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Associates degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E).
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards.
  • CDL License.
  • 3+ years of OSP construction work experience in the Telecom field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project supervision experience in HFC/FTTH construction.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
Working Conditions

This role will require working in an office and field environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, noise, insects, rodents, pets, and cleaning solutions. You will also work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night, and may be required to work near power lines and electricity.

This role will also require travel with in-house crews, and you must be able to safely use weight-bearing equipment and climb poles using gaffs, hooks, and climbing belts as needed.
