This position can be based out of any of our offices located in Waltham, MA, Lake Worth, FL, or Chicago, IL. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

The Director of Corporate Accounting is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions for Buyers Edge Platform and all of our brands. The successful candidate has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, policies and processes.

Your impact:

  • Manage the month end close and financial statement preparation for all subsidiaries
  • Manage all journal entries and the reconciliation of over 30+ bank accounts for all subsidiaries
  • Implement internal controls and policies and procedures
  • Oversee all accounting functions and staff including GL, AP, AR, Payroll and Financial Systems Administration
  • Manage the processing and coding of all accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and processing payments and applying cash receipts
  • Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization's strategic goals
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Oversee the Financial Statement audit with the external auditors
  • Work with Human Resources and Payroll on the 401k audit
  • Work with Human Resources and Payroll on best practices, ADP WFN knowledge a plus
  • Assist in implementation and integration of all newly acquired subsidiaries
  • Manage the ERP and Expense Management systems

About you:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of expereince with 5+ in a supervisory role
  • Expereince with ERP Systems (NetSuite is a plus)
  • Experience with month end close and account reconciliation software, Floquast a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting
  • CPA Preferred
