Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer/Scientist with an advanced degree in Engineering to join our Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Division. This role is pivotal in supporting our ongoing research and development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

As a member of our team, you will engage in:

  • Identifying and pursuing potential business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Managing projects, ensuring timely submission of deliverables, adherence to project schedules, and budget compliance.
  • Overseeing technical progress and maintaining communication with stakeholders to keep them informed.
  • Meeting project objectives and exploring avenues for future work.
  • Demonstrating expertise in various NDE modalities, including:
    • Eddy current inspection
    • Ultrasonic inspection
    • X-ray/CT inspection
    • Electromagnetic inspection
    • Thermographic inspection
    • MM or THz inspection
  • Engaging in digital signal processing, including signal sampling, amplification, and filtering.
  • Documenting progress and activities for customer reports.
  • Writing and reviewing technical reports and composing technical and cost proposals.

This position requires in-person attendance at our facility.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing project and internal priorities.
  • Hands-on experience and a willingness to engage in experimental work.
  • Independence in learning and problem-solving.

Additionally, the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance is mandatory. A Ph.D. in an engineering discipline is required, and additional certifications (such as PMP or ASNT certifications) are advantageous but not mandatory. Travel may be necessary to fulfill project and business development objectives.
