Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze spacecraft electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop high-reliability hardware for spaceflight, focusing on thermal, radiation, and vibration challenges.
  • Conduct detailed electrical system design, including defining electrical Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and deriving requirements.
  • Build and test power electronics, including DC/DC converters and isolated power supplies.
  • Oversee the assembly and testing of lithium battery packs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for debugging and validating electronic systems.
  • Implement satellite electrical system concepts, including power budgets and telemetry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB is preferred.
  • Experience with hardware testing for radiation and electromagnetic interference effects.
  • Familiarity with Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis tools.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
