Role Overview:

The Senior Electrical Validation Engineer will spearhead the validation processes for server platform electrical systems. This role encompasses the planning and execution of laboratory measurements for high-speed signals, ensuring they align with simulation results, high-speed signaling standards, and platform design criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical validation efforts for server platforms, focusing on high-speed signal integrity and power delivery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Silicon Design, Platform Architecture, and Debug teams, to provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Establish and assess pass/fail criteria for high-speed buses and power delivery components within server products.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of high-speed signaling technologies, including future standards such as USB-4 and PCIe5.
  • Manage complex debugging initiatives to identify root causes of issues and develop effective resolutions.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A robust background in electrical engineering with a focus on high-speed signaling and power measurement.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical information effectively.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to perform sophisticated evaluations and summarize findings for stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with x86 system design and validation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with transmission line theory, PCB design, and power integrity analysis will be advantageous. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
