Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenureResponsibilitiesThe Role:The Quality Control/Inventory Control Manager role will work as a liaison between sales, purchasing, warehouse operations, and transportation. They will communicate effectively upstream and downstream with all departments, with a strong commitment to maintaining the quality of product. A strong attention to detail and record keeping is needed for day-to-day interactions.Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To  All inbound and outbound quality programs. All warehouse daily inventory accuracy programs as well as perform monthly inventory. Ability to prioritize work flow in a fast paced environment.
Full understanding functions of Retalix and Bosanova Understand functions of transfers, inventory, slotting, product tracing.
Returned product disposition and tracking. Work with Purchasing and Sales on products that are not moving, aged inventory. Implementing and managing all inbound and outbound quality control functions. Work with Purchasing and Sales to resolve customer quality issues. Oversee repack crew. Write the Q.C./I.C. team schedule Assist with warehouse SKU rationalization Work with Purchasing and Sales for new/deleted items. Lead warehouse recall team. On-site SQF Practitioner assisting in food safety programs and daily monitoring logs. Attend yearly SQF food safety certification audit. Attend 3rd party food safety audits. Other projects as assigned.QualificationsRequired Experience Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience. Minimum 2 years SQF training andor HACCP certification. In depth product and operations knowledge. Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to prioritize projects and multi task.Preferred Skills and Experience Restaurant/ Retail produce experience.
