Description:
As a Payroll Coordinator you will :-
- Support the Payroll processing activities relating to Work Forward Taxation.
- Perform analytical audits of the Payroll Tax reports to ensure both aspects of timeliness and accuracy are achieved in processing all employee payments.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the processes they support, having a complete understanding of how this process integrates with the overall end-to-end payroll processing.
- Perform detailed verification, review and preparation of payroll tax updates as required from daily tax and travel reports and/or manual updates.
- Defined processing timeline schedules must be achieved to ensure the timely and accurate recording of all employee transactions.
- Support all customer service channel activities, including cases, and ensure regular updates are maintained as it relates to processes, changes and/or announcements to assist in maintaining up-to-date information available to employees and their Payroll peers.
- Assist with tax setups for remote and travel employees.
- Review state & local taxes associated with remote addresses and work with the HR team to have employee's HR/Tax file updated.
- Identify the need for special ad-hoc queries to assist in completing appropriateness review of fluctuation deviations from standard processing flow or expected results.
- Assist with any compliance issues raised or identified through remediation.
- Collaborate with Tax team members to ensure documentation of Payroll Tax DTPs (Desktop Procedures) are maintained and updated, as necessary.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and process improvements for the department, as needed.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
- You have a strong sense of urgency and don't wait for things to happen you are proactive and tackle tasks head-on.
- You have experience managing large work volumes, demonstrate flexibility, and adapt easily to change.
- You're comfortable interacting with peers in various departments to resolve complex issues.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively across various levels of the organization
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Three or more years of relevant work experience with multi-state and telecommuting taxation, including local taxes.
- Experience with HRMS and Payroll processing responsibilities and system applications-PeopleSoft and/or Workday preferred.
- Intermediate Excel.
Even better if you have:-
- Understanding of the end-to-end Payroll functional processes as well as how the Payroll functional processes integrate with the overall end-to-end Payroll Tax processes.
- Experience with 3rd party tax applications, i.e. ADP, CIC+.
- Strong customer service skills (both verbal and written).
- Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
- Strong sense of urgency, proactive approach, and a solid focus on results.
- Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously.
- Willingness for flexible scheduling to meet processing demands.

Pay Range*: OR $30 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
