Perdue also offers a 401(k) savings plan with company match.This position has a target wage of $21.00 - $24.00 per hour Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccurately control and track physical inventory of productMaintain work area clean and in orderAllocate inventory against ordersSchedule orders Maintain status of orders through entire processParticipate in inventory process and daily audits; research and resolve inventory discrepanciesMaintain accurate records of quantity, type, and value of stockMaintain inventory databasePrepare all required reports and correspondence; perform required administrative tasksAdhere to all safety rules including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters Minimum EducationHigh School or equivalentExperience Requirements2 - 4 years experienceStrong computer skills including Microsoft, Outlook, and ExcelExperience as a forklift and/or pallet jack driver High understanding of products and production flow from order entry through shippingExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing prioritiesAcute attention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand EnglishMust be able to utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboardAccurately complete detailed forms and reportsCalculate figures and amountsEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is activeOn the plant floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routineMay need to move equipment occasionallyAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb. boxes and materialsMay need to access files, supplies, and equipmentPosition requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilitiesMust wear and use protective and safety equipment required of the job as directed by companyWhen in a plant environment:Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfacesExposureto temperatures (28 - 100 degrees Fahrenheit)Humidity (0-100%)May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees FahrenheitNoise (50db. - 110db.)May be exposed to dust, feathers, andall chemicals used in poultryprocessing facilityPerdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
