Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC units, and other mechanical repairs.
  • Perform unit inspections to detect maintenance concerns and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Respond efficiently to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner and accurately record all maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance operations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of common areas and grounds.
  • Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and necessary repairs.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and fair housing regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work, especially in a residential or multifamily housing setting.
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and effective prioritization of tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
