Job Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Lead will take charge of a dedicated maintenance crew, ensuring safe and efficient operations within a continuous manufacturing setting. This collaborative position involves planning, organizing, scheduling, and supervising daily maintenance activities to guarantee that all machinery and systems function at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, modify, and repair mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical layouts
  • Safely and effectively use a range of power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
  • Enhance equipment reliability to reduce downtime and boost production efficiency
  • Assist in the procurement of maintenance supplies and external technical services
  • Develop and implement a structured preventative maintenance strategy
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective measures to enhance reliability
  • Oversee parts requisitions and ensure efficient inventory management
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and provide updates to management
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical technology, mechatronics, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Over 5 years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role, ideally within a highly automated manufacturing context
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and perform PLC programming (e.g., Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCAT)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong mathematical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to collaborate across departments
  • Experience with ABB robotics and fabrication processes is advantageous
