Responsibilities: Work with project management to assess, plan, and deliver on equipment needs.Manage all aspects of company owned and leased vehicles to ensure they are maintained properly, operated safely, and in good working condition.Titles, registration, insurance, tolls, etc.Maintenance notifications and coordinationTelematics system management and reportingEstablish great working relationships with project teams and vendors.Assist with issuing and tracking the vehicle allowance program.Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and insurance claims on equipment.Setup, maintain, and close out equipment rental purchase orders.MIC internal trucking project administrationSetup phase codes, bill internal trucking costs to project, issue purchase orders to external trucking companiesAssist Fleet manager in fulfilling equipment requests submitted by project teamsManage onboarding, benefit, and payroll activities.Posting work order costs weeklyGenerate reports out of Viewpoint for fleet and equipment analysisIssuing equipment department purchase ordersMonthly rental unit insurance allocationEquipment data entry into various systemsOther administrative duties as assigned to support general equipment department operation Qualifications: Qualifications1-3 years of construction industry experience/knowledge of constructioBachelor degree in Business or Construction Management or 4 years of construction experience.Proficient in using Microsoft Suite ProgramsKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesBe knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.Set a personal example of safe behavior.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, Viewpoint and Construction Software techniques, estimating and construction management.Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers and the general public.Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Well organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.Able to stay busy and ways to improve the department with minimal supervision.Other may duties may be assignedPhysical Demands: This position requires prolonged sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
