IT Asset Management Analyst
Summary
This role supports all phases of the Enterprise Hardware IT Asset Management (ITAM) process. The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed, but are not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills.
Responsibilities

  • Process incoming freight and deliveries.
  • Document assets, provide reporting to IT Asset Management Specialist.
  • Ship and track provisioned equipment to/from end users, as needed.
  • Analyze data to identify inaccuracies.
  • Research missing devices using a line-by-line approach for full discovery of equipment locations.
  • Support ticketing requests, focused on asset recovery at off-boarding or refresh activities.
  • Coordinate reporting for decommissioning of IT asset records.
  • Perform audits and regular inventory reviews.
  • Support physical stockroom inventory efforts.
  • Prepare decommissioned equipment for physical disposal.
  • Review standards and ensure guidelines and controls are maintained.
  • Maintain best practice for enterprise ITAM.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in IT Asset Management.
  • Experience with multi-location coordination of technical resources.
  • Basic understanding of ITAM standards with a desire to learn more.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to consider and support both strategic and practical implications for a proposed course of action.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills).
  • Ability to organize time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve goals (organizational skills).
  • Ability to present a positive, energetic, and patient mentoring style.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Preferred

  • Experience with ServiceNow's ITAM module.


This is a 5-month Contract with our Kansas City, KS client. 100% Paid employee Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) (with immediately-vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.
