The mission: RES is actively growing across 25+ states and expanding our federal client base. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth by leading the capture process for RES’ federal targets, in particular, USACE and NAVY. Evaluate procurement challenges and develop creative solutions to contracting pathways.

Capture Strategy: Formulate and execute a capture strategy that outlines key win themes, discriminators, teaming arrangements, and pricing strategies to maximize the probability of winning.

Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers (federal government targets and prime contractors), understanding their requirements, challenges, and priorities to shape tailored solutions.

Competitive Analysis: Analyze incumbent and competitors' strengths and weaknesses to position the company favorably during the capture process. Develop strategies to differentiate and showcase the company's value proposition.

Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, pricing specialists, designers, engineers, contracting specialists, business analysts, and project managers, to develop comprehensive and compelling solutions that address customer needs. Along with Federal Solutions Leader, identify necessary resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support the capture process effectively.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact the capture process and the successful execution of the opportunity.

Proposal Support: Provide guidance and support to proposal development teams during the pre-proposal and proposal phase, ensuring alignment with the capture strategy and federal procurement requirements.

Stakeholder Management and Communication: Regularly communicate with Federal Solutions Leadership and key stakeholders to provide updates on capture progress, challenges, and adjustments to the capture strategy.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the federal government, particularly with decision-makers within target agencies. Understand customer needs and adapt strategies to meet these requirements.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of federal contracting trends, especially those related to Nature-based Solutions innovations. Analyze competitor activities, regulatory changes, and technological advancements by working with internal Federal Analysts and outside resources.
