Job Description:

Role
Responsible for the development, implementation, data integrity and maintenance of the Loan Origination system and its related third-party interfaces. This role creates and supports technical and functional
solutions to enhance efficiencies throughout the individual lending business units' operational workflows.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the deployment, migratio n, and maintenance of the loan origination software.
  • With the support of HR reports, will manage security administration for all users in the loan origination software and related third-party systems.
  • With the support of IT and Lending Management, pro-actively prepare for major releases, service packs and critical patches for the loan origination software and related third-party systems.
  • Maintain all setting configurations related to operational workflows, including but not limited to Custom Print Forms, Custom Fields, Milestone Completion rules, Field Data Entry rules, Loan Templates, Dynamic Data Management Fee and Field rules and Dynamic Data Management Tables.
  • Liaise with the lending management team to evaluate, analyze, recommend, and design solutions and modifications to meet business needs.
  • Evaluate, create, and implement business rules to help improve and maintain data integrity.
  • Independently research and maintain current knowledge of the loan origination software roadmaps related to new and emerging products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with external vendors as related to the implementation of new solutions for the department.
  • Maintain change management documentation to support all changes.
  • Take part in projects focused on continuous improvement and development.
  • Will attend in-person meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Knowledge & Skills
Experience
Minimum of five years of strong knowledge of the Mortgage and Consumer Lending programs, guidelines and procedures and related Consumer Compliance regulations.

Education
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience and education.

Skills
Exceptional problem-solving and independent research skills.
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
Strong analytical and math abilities.
Highly responsive, organized and detail oriented.
Proficiency with Excel and ability to write business rules utilizing Visual Basics programming language or related.
Ability to persuade others to change existing practices to support Bank vision.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines and activities.

Physical Requirement
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6- 8 hours per day, when necessary.

Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
