Mortgage Systems Analyst

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Loan Origination system and its related third-party interfaces. The successful candidate will create and support technical and functional solutions to enhance efficiencies throughout the individual lending business units' operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, migrate, and maintain the loan origination software.
- Manage security administration for all users in the loan origination software and related third-party systems.
- Prepare for major releases, service packs, and critical patches for the loan origination software and related third-party systems.
- Maintain setting configurations related to operational workflows.
- Liaise with the lending management team to evaluate, analyze, recommend, and design solutions and modifications to meet business needs.
- Evaluate, create, and implement business rules to improve and maintain data integrity.
- Research and maintain current knowledge of the loan origination software roadmaps.
- Collaborate with external vendors to implement new solutions.
- Maintain change management documentation.
- Participate in projects focused on continuous improvement and development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of strong knowledge of the Mortgage and Consumer Lending programs, guidelines, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or other related field.
- Exceptional problem-solving and independent research skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and math abilities.
- Highly responsive, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with Excel and ability to write business rules using Visual Basics programming language or related.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. They must also be able to operate routine office equipment and perform job functions independently or with limited supervision.
