Description
RIVA Solutions Inc. is seeking a Project Manager/Agile Scrum Master (PM) to lead a large, enterprise-wide website migration project. The ideal candidate has experience managing large website redesigns and migrations, including the implementation of web-based content management systems (Drupal), packages, and/or enhancement to existing applications. Expectations include supporting the efficient migration and digital experience throughout the project's lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and driving project plans for client implementations within established timelines
  • Creates, manages and tracks project documents, including, but not limited to: project schedules, including estimates versus actuals, detailed project plans, scope documents, cost estimates, resource plans, risk and issues logs, and status reports
  • Creates and maintains product backlogs, prioritizing user stories and features based on business value and stakeholder feedback.
  • Drive to outcomes via detailed follow-ups and meetings holding all parties accountable for meeting project milestones on agreed to dates
  • Build and lead Agile teams, including developers, designers, testers, and other stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent team culture, promoting effective communication, trust, and accountability across internal and external teams
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring active participation and engagement from team members
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, proactively mitigating risks and developing contingency plans.
  • Monitor project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions as needed
  • Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers as needed in regard to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with stakeholders
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner and manage changes in the plan by gaining approval from workstream leaders and the governance team with follow-up communication to all key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: BS/BA degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent)
  • Minimum Experience: 8 years' Project Management
Desired Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or business/economic/technical discipline
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading Agile development teams
  • A minimum of one (1) years of experience managing COTS implementation of Cloud based, CMS project.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of CMS Project Management
  • Experience managing Cloud CMS implementations (Drupal) for the Federal Government
  • Strong writing, analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
