Position Description:

LCG is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex, multi-disciplinary IT projects to support The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). This role is critical in ensuring the timely delivery of IT-related projects, meeting business objectives, and managing project risks effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate project teams composed of various disciplines, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all functions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Utilize Microsoft Project to prepare detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and determine the critical path for each project.
  • Develop, maintain, and administer project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met and projects remain on track.
  • Apply Agile project management methodologies to manage and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Create, maintain, and administer a SharePoint and/or Microsoft Project Online repository for each assigned project within OCC’s Microsoft Office 365 environment.
  • Develop and maintain a project risk register in SharePoint, identifying and managing all risks associated with each project.
  • Submit consolidated weekly status reports summarizing the progress of all assigned projects.
  • Schedule and coordinate project team meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and tracking action items via Microsoft Project Online (MSPO).
  • Ensure that all action items are followed up and completed in a timely manner.
  • Create and deliver presentations to support executive-level decision-making, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project objectives.
  • Develop detailed WBS for each assigned project, providing clear guidance on project deliverables and timelines.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing IT-related projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Project to prepare WBS, determine critical paths, and manage project schedules.
  • Extensive experience with Agile project management methodologies, including the ability to adapt to dynamic project environments
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or a PRINCE2 certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary for this role is $160,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
