Responsibilities:

  • Engage regularly with clients to ensure goals and objectives are clearly understood and achieved, and collaborate with designers to realize their vision within the project’s financial constraints.
  • Manage all phases of project development, from turnover from estimating to procurement, execution, and close-out phases.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Oversee and prepare accurate project documentation for all phases of project execution.
  • Create and maintain project schedules for both clients and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain a Cost to Complete report for each project.
  • Advocate for the company during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.
  • Track and submit invoices, purchase orders, and other financial commitments.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with industry associates, vendors, and professional organizations, actively soliciting new partnerships.
  • Participate in business development to maximize opportunities for the company.
  • Lead and mentor staff assigned to support projects, including Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.


Qualifications:

  • Assistant Project Manager: At least 1 year of prior work experience in construction (general contractor, construction manager, subcontractor), project management, or design (architecture, engineering, etc.).
  • Project Manager: At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Senior Project Manager: At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, construction costs, scheduling, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu, and online project management software (e.g., Procore).
