Position Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a team providing enterprise user support services to the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). This position requires strong technical experience in providing technical solutions and support to hardware, software, and operating systems in an inter-networked environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides vision and innovation to develop and implement robust processes to ensure quality services are provided that are measurable and achievable.
· Manage resources, delegate tasks, serves as the customer interface, and provide ongoing leadership and oversight to ensure performance is on schedule and within budget.
· Assesses performance of staff and team members and coaches them to improve performance.
· Works with the corporate Talent Acquisition team to select new team members.
· Interfaces with government customers and articulating an operational vision for the program along with proposed plans to meet that vision.
· Meet with stakeholders and maintain transparency regarding project issues and decisions on services.
· Coordinate contract modifications and requirements for new staff directly with stakeholders, ensuring alignment of client needs and contract documentation.
· Planning, executing, managing and overseeing completion of IT projects at NIDCR.
· Provide contract performance reports weekly and monthly delivered with contract invoices to the Contracting Officer’s Representative.
· Maintain project data in NIDCR’s Agile support tools such as Microsoft Teams and Planner. Including capture of new stories, tasks, and scrum notes.
· Ensure all contract staff complete required training such as annual Security and Privacy training, by established deadlines.
· Develops, manages, and administers training programs for the team including ensuring that new team members receive the training needed to successfully perform their duties.
· Collects and analyzes customer feedback and takes actions to maintain high service standards.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree required; Advanced Degree Preferred
· PMP Certification Preferred
· 5+ years of project management experience in a help desk environment managing a team and reviewing invoices.
· Experience and knowledge of Microsoft and MAC products, technologies, and applications
· Working knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Teams, Planner, and ServiceNow.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to effectively resolve issues.
· Proven sound judgment, work ethic, and professional integrity with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive team relationships.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
