Group Sales Executive

Pensacola, FL

This person should be an outgoing, energetic, and creative sales professional who is a clear self-starter with strong sales and relationship skills. This position will be involved with the full company sales program, oversee organization and development of all group hospitality areas, as well as targeting groups and group prospecting throughout the Northwest Florida market. And as part of a highly awarded sports organization in a waterfront stadium in the heart of the community, you can expect to have a lot of fun

Essential Functions


  • Identify and solicit new local and regional corporate partners for the organization.
  • Develop customized group programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients.
  • Maintain groups sales inventory.
  • Daily reporting of sales and goals.
  • Responsible for selling and servicing for all groups areas and package types.
  • Develop and implement group incentives.
  • Create new categories and packages for the group sales department.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all groups.
  • Create benefits for groups.
  • Communicate relevant details with other members of the organization, such as Food and Beverage, Ticketing Operations, Stadium Operations, and Creative Services.
Requirements


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Excellent, proven cold calling skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Technically proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Access)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong team work skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to attend company events and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Education & Experience


Bachelor's degree preferred, experience in customer service required.

Physical Requirements


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and the use of standard office equipment including computers.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work


This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs. This position will be required to work home games.
