Director of Sales/ Chief Revenue Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engagement: Initiate and manage phone calls, email, and texting communication with potential clients and customers, educating them on the Velocity brand and what makes us unique by presenting our line of vehicles with the bespoke options we offer and understanding the client's wants and needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge about our vehicles' features, benefits, and unique selling points to provide accurate information to prospects.
  • Ambassador: Represent the brand and our vehicles at in-person events, test drives, shows and in media appearances.
  • Customer Service: Handle inquiries, feedback, and objections in a courteous and professional manner.
  • CRM Management: Log and update all client interactions, maintaining accurate records of potential leads and client details in our CRM system.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training and workshops to refine sales techniques and deepen product knowledge.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to stay updated on current campaigns and promotions.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • A genuine interest in classic cars and the automotive industry.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales techniques.
  • Drive to achieve sales targets and grow within the sales team.
  • Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work onsite during business hours, on call as needed evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flexibility to travel to company events as needed, up to 15 days a month.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
  • Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with Automotive, Marine/Yacht, Aviation, Real Estate, and other high transaction price sales.
  • Any other qualities that demonstrate your ability to excel in a sales team
Physical Demands (to include but not limited to)
  • Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computer, office equipment, telephone, cameras, lighting, etc.
  • Sit for long periods of time working at a desk, boardroom table, or at a computer.
  • Walk long distances across shop floor.
  • Must be able to see details of objects from a distance, example: identifying numbers on computer screen
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place items up to 20 pounds without assistance.
  • Occasional reaching overhead and below knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to conduct test drives and load/unload vehicles into transport trailers.

Salary Range:

Base Salary $50,000

Total compensation $75K-$300K per year based on sales
