Job Description Summary:

As the largest life insurance premium finance company in the country, Wintrust Life Finance provides customized financing solutions to qualified borrowers seeking to finance their life insurance premiums. Our financing solutions have supported numerous planning structures, including traditional wealth transfer, key-man insurance, buy-sell arrangements, split dollar arrangements, term alternatives, charitable giving, income replacement strategies, and more. What you will be doing:
  • Source and develop insurance premium finance opportunities via brokerage and advisory channels (or relationships) in assigned regional territory

  • Develop personal sales/marketing plan in collaboration with EVP

  • Maintain information on market trends, successes, challenges, and opportunities 

  • Maintain CRM prospect and opportunity data; leverage data/analytics to drive production 

  • Up to 50% travel throughout assigned territory to foster and develop relationships leveraging in-person and video conferencing tools where appropriate

  • Attend/represent Wintrust Life Finance at industry meetings and conferences 

  • Assist in creation of marketing pieces and presentations

Required Background

  • Minimum of 5 years' production-based sales experience with demonstrated success in Lending, Financial Advisory, Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Life Insurance Advanced Markets

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing related field, preferred

  • Emphasis on client service

  • Self-starter who drives for results independently with minimal supervision

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools (we use Salesforce)

  • Finance/Credit background is a plus
