The qualified applicant will become part of Space Launch System (SLS) program, located in Huntsville, Alabama.  The applicant will work on site in an avionics lab.

Responsibilities:
  • Candidate shall have experience in inventory control of electronic parts.
  • Candidate shall be able to utilize RFID in inventory control.
  • Candidate shall be able to use Microsoft Products (Excel, Word).

Basic Qualifications (Requirements):
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Responsibilities area
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a Customer/NASA background check, which requires US Citizenship
  • The successful applicant must have strong communication skills and be capable of working in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple activities concurrently
  • The ability to rapidly pick up new lingo in a new environment is highly valuable here.
  • The applicant must be capable of working with minimal supervision. Employees are encouraged to take ownership and responsibility for projects they are working.
  • The successful applicant is teachable and works with constructive feedback.
  • Ability to learn transportation and material movement systems and forms.

Assets (Preferred):
  • Previous NASA or DOD experience
  • Previous experience working in a lab environment

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
