Position Summary: We are looking for an Automation Controls Specialist for the night shift to enhance equipment availability and support production operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience with Siemens PLCs (including programming, troubleshooting, and problem-solving)
- Familiarity with Cognex and/or Keyence vision systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Thursday)
- Excellent documentation and leadership abilities
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Fanuc Robotics
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, select, and procure manufacturing machinery
- Supervise the installation, modification, upgrading, and maintenance of machinery
- Keep records of technical notices, upgrades, and safety concerns related to equipment
- Analyze equipment performance and reliability metrics
- Develop initiatives to enhance uptime and resolve equipment challenges
- Offer technical assistance to repair and process engineering teams
- Create and document preventative maintenance schedules
Compensation: $46.00 to $53.00 per hour
