Job Overview

Position Summary: We are looking for an Automation Controls Specialist for the night shift to enhance equipment availability and support production operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience with Siemens PLCs (including programming, troubleshooting, and problem-solving)
  • Familiarity with Cognex and/or Keyence vision systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Thursday)
  • Excellent documentation and leadership abilities

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Fanuc Robotics

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, select, and procure manufacturing machinery
  • Supervise the installation, modification, upgrading, and maintenance of machinery
  • Keep records of technical notices, upgrades, and safety concerns related to equipment
  • Analyze equipment performance and reliability metrics
  • Develop initiatives to enhance uptime and resolve equipment challenges
  • Offer technical assistance to repair and process engineering teams
  • Create and document preventative maintenance schedules

Compensation: $46.00 to $53.00 per hour
