As a Sales Manager at our dealership, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee all aspects of the sales process, from customer acquisition to vehicle delivery, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and meets our high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process.
  • Monitor sales team performance, conduct regular sales meetings & performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Monitor all leads, both in-store, phone, and internet leads, to ensure timely responses and follow-up.
  • Desk deals along other managers in accordance with the Chevyland sales process.
  • Build rapport with customers to establish customer network
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
  • Help manage all other aspects of the sales department
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
  • Handle customer escalations and resolve any issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the finance and insurance team to maximize profitability through the sale of finance, insurance, and aftermarket products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a successful sales manager in the automotive industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and leading a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
  • Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales
  • Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
