Logistics Coordinator

SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Logistics team on outbound shipments and transfers. Overseas and ensure accurate movement and arrival of all goods within a required time frame. Strongly collaborates with the warehouse supervisor and shipping schedulers to maintain master accrual accurately, support freight invoice data and performs ship data entry on IFS.

SAFETY:

1) Understand and follow all safety procedures

a) Current on all safety trainings

b) Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)

2) Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.

SKILLS:

1) Handle the issue of BOL for outbound

2) Organize picking sheets

3) Support the transfers check to Harlem

4) Accurately enter shipping data in to IFS

5) Update master accrual without errors

6) Double check freight invoices

7) Perform cycle counts and report on inventory accuracy

8) Other duties may be assigned

KNOWLEDGE:

1) Associate’s degree or equivalent

2) 0-2 years’ experience in the field or in a related area preferred

3) Advanced Excel skills

4) Good communication skills

5) Support Logistics team on daily tasks

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.

2) Must be able to work in an environment which is dusty and noisy.

3) Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
