Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC (HMS) has an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist to work in our Fairmont, WV office. The IT Support Specialist assists end users with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Interaction with multiple levels of end users, managers, VIPs and local technical staff is required. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Hours of operation during initial new hire training is Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Upon completion of training, hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 11 AM to 8 PM EST. Responsibilities: Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. Participate in system testing and evaluations for various projects. Maintain software inventory and deliver new/updated software packages to the desktops. Maintain license inventory of all desktop computer applications. Desired Skills & Experience: 1 year of prior work experience related to IT support functions. Good working knowledge of hardware and software installation. Experience with Microsoft desktop applications (Office/O365, Outlook, etc.) is required. Good customer service, written, and verbal communication skills are required. Minimum Education and Training Requirements: Microsoft certification (MSCE), CompTIA A+ and or Network+ is preferred. HMS will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience as indicated above that is equivalent to an Associates degree in Information Technology.
