As an Administrative Assistant, you will be the front line of the team responsible for the following:

  • Composing routine correspondence including memos and e-mails for the Vice President/General Manager, Department Managers, Product Managers, Purchasing and Customer Service Account Representatives.
  • Organizing and maintaining file system and files correspondence and other records.
  • Answering and screening telephone calls and arranging conference calls.
  • Arranging and coordinating travel schedules and reservations.
  • Arranging manager meeting such as travel schedules including airport pick-up, hotel and meal arrangements.
  • Preparing reports, outgoing mail and correspondence.
  • Working with other Assistants as needed to complete critical assignments.
You will make an impact in this role by:
  • Extensively using MS Excel to pull and manipulate data, creating reports, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reserves and prepares facilities.
  • Ordering and maintaining suppliers and arranging office equipment maintenance.
  • Checking e-mail for managers as required.
  • Coordinating and arranging employee quarterly meetings, national sales meetings and Board of Directors' meetings
  • Coordinating, greeting and facilitating visitors while they are onsite.
Requirements

To be considered for the Administrative Assistant role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience supporting Sales and/or Manufacturing is a plus.
  • Fluency reading and writing German is a plus.
