How You Will Make an Impact
  • Receive training on various analytics tools.
  • Learn different applications of applying analytical techniques through a wide range of projects.
  • Learn/utilize programming languages (R, Python, SQL)
  • Develop dashboards in Qlik Sense including the geo mapping features
  • Work closely with service teams to improve or automate inefficient processes.
  • Research and integrate 3rd party data with existing data sources.
  • Present analytical findings to business customers and clients.
  • Collect, analyze, and store data in an organized fashion to ensure efficient data retrieval.
  • Review data for accuracy, ensuring it is presented in a clear concise manner.
  • Participate in educational opportunities to increase overall insurance knowledge.
  • Spend time with executives and management to learn about our business strategy and operations.
  • Join sales and risk management teams in client meetings.
What You Will Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated success in college efforts through academics and/or involvement in activities.
  • Ideal candidates will be entering their junior or senior year at a 4-year college or university and pursuing a degree in data analytics, computer science, mathematics, or another closely related field.
  • Experience working Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity and desire to enhance programming abilities in R, Python, or SQL.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
