FMP Consulting is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team.

As a Business Analyst at FMP, you will have the unique opportunity to:

  • Use agile methods to analyze, define and document business requirements for software solutions to help our clients achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Support client digital product needs through all stages of the software development life cycle - from vision to roadmap to execution.
  • Analyze and document customer and client stakeholder business processes
  • Build trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Conduct user-acceptance, functional, and regression testing on the system
  • Develop artifacts as part of the Agile development process, including user interface designs and functional documentation
  • Design briefing materials, user guides, functionality demonstrations, and project proposals that will be shared with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications

Required experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst
  • Experience soliciting business/functional requirements, working with a technical team to translate them into technical specifications, and shepherding the work through testing, deployment, and customer communication
  • Experience working in an Agile environment working as a part of teams to iteratively develop and deliver digital products
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences (orally and in written form)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across organizational barriers to accomplish high priority and high visibility goals
