Our client is a manufacturer of dosing components and filling systems for semi and fully automated production plants and assembly processes. Their commitment to precise, reliable, fast, and sophisticated cutting-edge technology is renowned worldwide.
Join them in their activity in delving deeper into exciting emerging markets like EV and solar.
Theideal candidate will have business development experience, preferably in the EV sector, and have an existing network of relevant contacts in the automotive, integrator and/or automation industries to grow the business. An independent and driven work style is required
We are looking for a "networker" who is comfortable to present and occasionally speak at networking events.
After initial training in Germany, you would be responsible for Sales and Business Development activities based out of the Atlanta, GA office or remote near a major airport.

Summary:
As the Business Development Manager for the Electric Vehicle (EV) and Battery sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the company in this dynamic market.
Tasks:
• Market development of EV sector.
• Located either at office West of Atlanta, GA - or remote near a major airport.
• Execution of market analysis and identification of promising dispensing applications.
• Development and acquisition of key global customers; networking and contact development at the highest level in the EV sector.
• Input to product development for the EV sector.
• Development and implementation of sales strategies in conjunction with the sales and marketing departments.
• Participation in research projects and/or white papers.
• Organize and exhibit at, and/or attend, relevant trade shows throughout the year.
• Give speeches/presentations at trade shows/workshops.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Engineering (mechanical engineering, process engineering, mechatronics, etc.) preferred.
• Experience in EV sector preferred, but not necessarily required. Extensive training at our headquarters in Germany will be provided.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel (30% - 40%)
• Proficiency in all standard MS programs.
• CRM experience - Salesforce preferred.
