About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for meeting revenue objectives by selling training and professional development services through a consultative sales process.
Main Responsibilities
- Meet minimum monthly sales targets.
- Generate a high volume, of daily outbound prospecting activities including calls and emails.
- Convert inbound leads into opportunities and sales, including upselling and leveraging leads to expand relationships across the organization.
- Conduct consultative conversations with customers, to understand their needs and available budget.
- Consult with the customer to fully understand their immediate and long-term training and professional development needs by asking consultative questions.
- Maintain minimum metrics and required key performance indicators.
- Receive, qualify, and develop incoming leads.
- Build solutions for customers.
- Ask the customer for referrals to other departments.
- Utilize CRM and other company systems with the highest regard for accuracy.
- Prepare written proposals and price quotations.
- Give presentations and briefings to clients as needed.
- Develop yourself professionally.
- Minimum of two-years business-to-business sales experience.
- Candidates without sales experience may be considered.
- Demonstration of traits related to being self-motivated and driven.
- Self-awareness and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Tenacity to make a high volume of outbound calls.
- Good communication skills.
