About the Role

The Account Manager is responsible for meeting revenue objectives by selling training and professional development services through a consultative sales process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Meet minimum monthly sales targets.
  • Generate a high volume, of daily outbound prospecting activities including calls and emails.
  • Convert inbound leads into opportunities and sales, including upselling and leveraging leads to expand relationships across the organization.
  • Conduct consultative conversations with customers, to understand their needs and available budget.
  • Consult with the customer to fully understand their immediate and long-term training and professional development needs by asking consultative questions.
  • Maintain minimum metrics and required key performance indicators.
  • Receive, qualify, and develop incoming leads.
  • Build solutions for customers.
  • Ask the customer for referrals to other departments.
  • Utilize CRM and other company systems with the highest regard for accuracy.
  • Prepare written proposals and price quotations.
  • Give presentations and briefings to clients as needed.
  • Develop yourself professionally.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two-years business-to-business sales experience.
  • Candidates without sales experience may be considered.
  • Demonstration of traits related to being self-motivated and driven.
  • Self-awareness and a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Tenacity to make a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Energetic
