Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Neuroscience Account Manager to join our team at Lundbeck. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for promoting our CNS portfolio to primary care and specialty accounts, including Psychiatrists, Neurologists, and Institutional Accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to drive demand creation and sales growth
Provide clinical knowledge and execute sales and marketing strategies in the local market
Partner with customers to deploy approved services necessary to meet their needs
Demonstrate strong capability in business planning, selling, customer development, local market and therapeutic area expertise, reimbursement, and pharmaceutical environment/compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
4+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience
Must demonstrate intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams
Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills
Demonstrated skills building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers
Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience within a specialty product sales force
Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience therapeutic areas
Documented successful sales performance
Ownership and accountability for the development and execution of fully integrated account plans
Previous experience in institutional account healthcare sales
CNS selling experience related to Alzheimer's, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia & Anxiety
Experience in product launches
Strong analytical background and experience using sales data reporting tools
Previous experience working with alliance partners
Strong leadership through participation in committees, job rotations, panels, and related activities

Travel

Willingness/Ability to travel up to 30% - 40% domestically to meet/interact with customer base and internal personnel within assigned territory

Benefits

Salary Pay Range: $120,000 - $142,000 and eligibility for a sales incentive target of $37,500
