This person must also have an attitude to win & to find cost-effective, creative ways to earn business. It is essential to possess a hunter/problem solver type attitude. Lastly, the ideal person must be able to exceed expectations based on customers & company objectives; be aggressive & a positive disruption to adapt to the changing automotive landscape.

You will be responsible for the following:

  1. Business Development:

o Drive revenue by selling Vayan’s quality assurance services, including third-party quality inspection, assembly & rework, technical engineering support, vehicle repair & warehouse services.

o Identify & develop new business opportunities & relationships through proactive hunting & farming with prospective companies.

o Develop & implement annual growth strategies, maintaining a robust pipeline.

o Engage in cold calling & prospecting for new business.

o Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic sales plans.

  1. Commercial Focus:

o Own customer relationships with key accounts, serving as the focal point of contact.

o Skillfully negotiate & execute new & existing contracts/terms (including NDA’s, Master Service Agreements, etc.).

o Strategically gain market share while ensuring margin expectations are met.

o Prepare accurate proposals properly reflecting customer’s scope / statement of requirements & be able to tailor our services to those customer expectations.

o Assess customer pain points & effectively present Vayan’s value proposition.

o Promptly address issues & actively seek opportunities to renew & expand business within existing customer accounts.

o Navigate complex deal requirements & mobilize necessary resources .

o Allocate over 80% of your time to selling & motivating customers to choose VAYAN as a 1st choice.

  1. Customer Relationship Management/Advocacy:

o Position Vayan as the “first call” preferred partner for quality assurance services, vehicle repair & warehouse services among designed OEM &/or Tier-1 automotive customers.

o Convert first-time customers into lifelong clients.

o Cultivate strong trust relationships with key customer contacts & decision-makers.

o Continuously learn about industry challenges & customer needs.

o Be the voice of the customer within Vayan.

o Understand customer organizations & effectively communicate their needs to the Vayan team .

  1. Other:

o Results-focused ensuring KPIs are met (i.e. Conduct a minimum of 10 meetings per week with customers).

o Regularly & accurately forecast expected revenue. Inform expected results critical for key business decision making; know the status & the numbers.

o Strong multi-tasking capabilities: Coordinate & generate multiple proposals concurrently.

o Deliver high-quality presentations showcasing expertise & capabilities.

o Participate in related trade show activities as required.

o Ensure timely & full collection of receivables.

  1. CRM Utilization (on a daily/weekly basis):

o Maintain accurate sales opportunities, key activities & updated contacts.

o Set up new locations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience.

· 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling complex services.

· Knowledge of quality assurance in automotive or manufacturing industries.

· Excellent communication & generates & delivers high quality PowerPoint presentations to customers.

  • Generates high quality MS Word based proposals & product offerings.

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives.

· Proficiency in CRM software & business applications.

  • Travel requirement dependent upon location & key account activities.
