Job Description

Sales Manager/Commercial Moving and Storage

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads.

The Sales Manager will also monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Manage, motivate and motivate a team of Commercial Sales Representatives.
  • Train and Develop Commercial Sales Representatives in all aspects of the commercial moving & storage business.
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospective leads with primary focus on building client relationships while improving current clientele base.
  • Collaborate with management team to improve marketing materials and website.
  • Expand company’s marketing presence
  • Attending industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and potential clients.
  • Focus on industry trends to identify potential opportunities for exponential growth.
  • Schedule appointments through cold calling and networking prospects weekly.
  • Quoting prices, recording work orders, and coordinating deliveries or projects.
Skills and Requirements:
  • 3 years sales experience or business development experience in related field.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients/customers.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of CRM software.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with autonomy.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
