Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Marshall, MN is currently seeking applicants for a Human Resources Generalist. Responsible for activities in the areas of payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, recruitment/selection, employee relations/activities, EEO/AAP, health/safety/workers compensation, and HR office duties.

Job Location:

Located in Marshall, MN north of SMSU and in the industrial park.

What you will be doing:

  • Assists employees on matters pertaining to HR, including payroll portal, benefits, wellness program, etc.
  • Assists in the hiring of Non-Exempt and Exempt positions, including screening of candidates, coordinating interviews, orientation, etc.
  • Coordinates recruiting process
  • Administers company policies and complies with all state and federal laws
  • Involvement in internal investigations and disciplinary matters
  • Maintains employee files.
  • Inputs employee data into HRIS system to ensure accuracy and timely data entry.
  • Handles day to day HR Dept. administrative activities - mail, filing, supply ordering, etc.
  • Assists with all HR functions related to Vishay's Montevideo, MN location via Teams, internal calls, and onsite visits on a regular basis
  • Works on special projects as assigned
What you will bring along:
  • 1 - 3 yrs. related Human Resources experience with knowledge of state laws pertinent to the state of MN.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills essential
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office
  • Knowledge with UltiPro, Workday, or other HRIS programs highly beneficial
