**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Recruit and hire top talent by creating vacancy notices, reviewing employment applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Onboard new employees by providing a comprehensive orientation, employee handbook overview, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including addresses, weekly earnings, absences, and supervisory reports on performance.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, plan questions, claims resolution, and open enrollment.
  • Respond to information requests from governmental agencies, such as affirmative action and unemployment, in a timely manner.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or GED, plus one to three years of human resources experience.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
  • Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/state laws.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software systems and Microsoft applications.
