Now hiring for Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a large superconductor manufacturing company in New Milford, CT. Pay: $21/hr Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Location: New Milford, CT Benefits: Full benefits available, health, dental, vision, overtime, weekly pay, etc. Job Description: Responsible for assembling parts, accessories and performing assembly operations to support the production of transformer and rectifier units. Assembles parts and accessories on units. Cleans and prepares tanks for assembly. Disassembles old or repaired units, records how parts came off, and stores in repair totes. Assembles wooden frames and supports. Completes tapping and insulating of Line leads, including acknowledgements. Assembles L.V. buss bar and builds related assemblies. Assists with prepping and landing coils per drawing designation. Assists with cutting and cleaning line leads to correct length. Assists with crimping lugs correctly, per engineers' needs with proper fillers. Assists with routing cables per drawings with correct clearances in H.V. and L.V. Assists with routing and running internal connections inside the tank. Assists with mounting external components including conservators, piping, gauges, heat exchangers, and brackets. Keeps work area and tool box orderly, organized, and clean and maintains, as needed, prior to the end of daily shift. Apply now We will call you after reviewing your resume.
