If you're skilled in problem-solving, process improvement, and willing to travel overnight, apply now to elevate your career with Solar Transport Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify sales prospects, sell products and services by establishing contact and developing relationships, and create new opportunities for growth within assigned territory Managing the day-to-day business activities, including but not limited to communicating with customers and resolving any issues Help establish, and guide Customer Service and Operations personnel regarding customer commitments and service expectations Responsible for addressing, directing, or delegating customer issues and opportunities to or with appropriate personnel (Management, Operations and/or Customer Service) Receive, research, identify, solve, and communicate expected solutions to customers regarding service failures; and successfully demonstrate solutions to customers in a professional manner Help identify process performance gaps, analyze root causes, and implement corrections Determine optimal freight needs with VP of Sales to maximize company revenue and utilization while not sacrificing customer service Overnight travel required Additional responsibilities as assigned Adheres to all company policies and procedures Qualifications: Education Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Transportation preferred Qualifications: Experience 5+ yrs. experience in Sales, specifically, bulk fuel/chemical/food grade transportation required Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and PowerPoint Qualifications: Competencies Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
