The Client Service Associate will be a key member of the team working directly with individual clients and their Client Advisors. The Associate will be responsible for handling client accounts, performing administrative tasks and supporting portfolio managers while adhering to established compliance regulatory policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Associate your responsibilities would include the following activities:
  • Prepare new account documents and coordinate opening of various types of investment accounts, including individual, organization, retirement and trust accounts.
  • Update and monitor account information, verifies and updates account coding and cost basis, maintains and updates various systems, and sets up reminders.
  • Interact with brokerage service team to perform research on transactions, cost basis, income tax and accounting issues.
  • Respond to client inquiries; help identify problem issues and provide assistance/resolution.
  • Process distribution requests, including checks, wires and stock gifts for clients.
  • Provide assistance to portfolio managers and client relationship officers, as needed
  • Interact with attorneys, accountants and other professionals regarding client accounts
  • Input documents into electronic filing system, as needed
  • Perform Salesforce data entry and updates, as needed
  • Work directly with Compliance to ensure fulfillment of proper administration and fiduciary duties on accounts, as needed
  • Prepare miscellaneous client reports, as needed
  • Provide back-up for miscellaneous administration and clerical duties, as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile - "Our Casting Call"
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related field preferred but not required
  • 2+ year's experience in financial services preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills -Extremely reliable, proactive, and self-motivated
